Summer Fun

I didn't do much with the Blog over the summer, because we were so busy with work and the kids. But we did have the opportunity to get out and have some fun every now and then. We played with a lot of bubbles and sidewalk chalk. We visited the park hundreds of times. Went to Bear Lake twice, once with the wellings and then once with my sister and her daughter Lily. This trip with Heather and Lily is when Thayne finally decided that he liked swimming.

We had the Barlow family campout, Welling reunion and Voss reunion. In July we went to Corey's 20th high school reunion. He was the only one there with little kids and a baby in tow. Everyone else either had kids who were graduating high school themselves, or they never had kids to begin with. Evan got a lot of attention at that reunion. (Corey and my sister Heather both graduated together, so it was her reunion too.)

In September Corey and I took the boys to the zoo. We have spent a few of my days off up at the cabin with the boys, just letting them run around and have fun. Hopefully now that I have been given more consistency in days off at the Motel we will be able to have more fun as a family.
